Into the woods

Into the woods–you have to grope,
But that’s the way you learn to cope.
Into the woods to find there’s hope
Of getting through the journey.
Into the woods, each time you go,
There’s more to learn of what you know.
Stephen Sondheim, Into the Woods

I can’t put into words how amazing January has been. 2013! The month has flown by, and the weeks and weekends have been full of so much fun. I was fortunate enough to receive tickets to see Cavalia’s Odesseyo last week. It was more than just a show. It was an experience. It was so moving and so emotional… It very much echoed the feeling in my heart right now of just being SO full of life. Watching the interactions between the horses on stage and the sheer beauty of their carefree spirits just poured into my soul. The choreography, performance and horsemanship made my jaw drop over and over again and left me speechless on how to describe it… if the show is coming anywhere near you in the future, I would highly recommend going to see it.

I am finding out that I’ve been wasting a lot of time and energy “looking for the forest”… All you have to do is wander patiently along and it is only a matter of time before you find yourself surrounded by trees.
